Project Instructions

Step 1 Spray paint shelves white.

Step 2 Let paint dry through.

Step 3 Sand the edges to create a worn look.

Step 4 Measure the distance between the premade holes on the backs of the shelves.

Step 5 Using the previous measurements, mark the wall with the areas where the found wood panels are going to be attached, on top and the bottom.

Step 6 Drill the holes and hammer in the anchors.

Step 7 Measure and mark the spots on the found wood that match the holes in the wall, top and bottom.

Step 8 Drill guide holes on the top and bottom (guide holes are holes that facilitate the screw to screw into the wood and avoids splitting the wood).

Step 9 Drill the screws through the found wood and into the anchors in the wall.

Step 10 Using the measurement from Step 1 as a guide, mark on both sides drilling points every 18"-20" apart from top to bottom.

Step 11 Make small guide holes and drill screws, allow each screw to be left unscrewed about ¼ inch. This will allow the head of the screw to go into the hole on the back of the shelves.

Step 12 Hang the shelves.

Step 13 Stock your shelves with storage elements and decorations.
