Project Instructions

Using ¾-inch flat brush and White, basecoat disks, outside of box, and top of lid.

Using ¾-inch flat brush, basecoat bottom of box and inside of lid Grass Green. With same brush, basecoat inside of box Holiday Red.

Using 12 flat brush and Grass Green, paint outside rim of lid. 

Apply pattern to box lid using transfer paper and stylus. Paint every other section with Holiday Red using 10 flat brush.

Apply pattern to fronts and backs of disks. On two discs, paint every other section Holiday Red with #10 flat brush, allowing section to run over rim of disc and connect with corresponding section on back. Repeat with other two discs using Grass Green.

For outside of box, cut out stripe pattern. Tape pattern together, wrapping it around outside of box. Lightly mark stripe marks with pencil. Remove pattern. Using small ruler, lightly draw stripe lines. With painter's tape, tape off stripes and paint every other one Holiday Red using #12 brush.

Apply two or three coats of DuraClear Satin Varnish to box. Apply one coat to ornaments. When dry, apply second coat of varnish, and while wet, sprinkle with Glamour Dust. 

Tie ribbon bows and glue to ornaments.

• 4-inch Round Papier Maché Box
