Crystal Ball Macramé Bracelet

When using a large diameter cord always dab your end knots with super glue. This will keep the knot from coming undone. Designed by Denise Yezbak Moore.

Material List

  • Crystal Balls – Purple (6)
  • Leather Cording, .8m – Black (112")
  • Super Glue
  • Clipboard (or Macramé Board), Small
  • Document Clip, Large
  • Scissors

Project Instructions

Cut three lengths of 32" of cording. Bring the cords together; move down 7" and place cords under clipboard clip. Separate strands and clip the center strand with a large document clip at the bottom of the clipboard.

Form a square knot. Form half of a square knot. Un-clip center strand and slide bead. Repeat five times.

Form a square knot, form half of a square knot. Un-clip top and bottom cords. Carefully trim ends of side cords, leaving the center cord intact. Dab super glue on the ends of the knots. Let dry.

Cut two 8" strands of cording. Bring center cords together with the two 8" strands on each side. Place strands under top of clipboard. Clip the two center bracelet strands at the bottom of the clipboard with a large document clip. Form four square knots. Carefully trim side cords and dab knots with super glue. Make sure you do not glue the center cords. (These cords need to be able to move.)

Pull center cords together, making sure there is enough room to fit the bracelet on your wrist. Form an overhand knot and trim end. Repeat on other side. Dab knots with super glue and let dry.
