Rocks Paper Metal was founded by two jewelry designers, born on opposite ends of the world, united in Los Angeles, CA. Drawn together by a love of all things ornate, clever and glitzy. Heavily influenced by the local Los Angeles fashion and arts scene, they provide the most concise, easy to understand jewelry trend forecasting site on the web. “We spot the trend. We show you how to wear it, design it and own it. We take what’s trending in apparel, handbags, shoes and headwear and show you exactly how that translates into your jewelry box.”

Project Instructions
Prepare supplies and tools.
Tool: 1 pair needle nose pliers, 1 wire cutter, 1 flat plier
Supplies: cord, chain, acrylic stones in stamped setting, crimp, lobster, 2 size jump rings, wire.

Cut chain to your preferred bracelet length (between 6.5 - 7.5").

Measure cord to be at least 3 x the length of chain. Image shows 2 strands of each cord color.

Knot cord to the end of chain and begin weaving.

Weave all three cord colors through chain. The outside cord colors should weave the same and the inside should be woven in reverse.

Knot all cords around the end of the chain. Trim excess cord on each side, leaving about 3/4" for style.

Open acrylic stone fixtures. Cut 2 strands of wire into 6". Weave one wire through all top holes and the other wire through all the bottom holes of the stone fixtures.

Pull wire through the backside of bracelet and secure with a silver crimp (use flat pliers to firmly close crimp). Cut excess wire closely to the end of the crimp.

Attach one large jump ring to one side of the woven chain. Attache lobster closure using a small jump ring to the other side of the woven chain.

Time to wear!!!
