Who is eligible to join?

Michaels has selected a small number of customers to participate in a customer loyalty program test. If you received an invitation from Michaels by email, you are eligible.

I received an invitation. Can I forward it to a friend?

At this time, membership is by invitation only. Enrollment in this program is not transferrable.

I did not receive an invitation email. Why can't I join?

Michaels is conducting a test with a small number of customers. The program is currently not able to support all Michaels shoppers who wish to join. Depending on the results of the test, a permanent program may be rolled out at a later date.

How can I become a member?

If you received an invitation email from Michaels, simply follow the "join" links in the email. Enrollment is available online only to eligible members.

Can I sign up at my local Michaels store?

Enrollment is only available online through your invitation email.

Why isn't the link in my invitation email working?

You have 10 days from receiving the email to accept the invitation to become a member. If action is not taken within 10 days, the invitation expires and the offer is no longer valid.

What are the benefits of being a member?

Because this is a test, membership benefits vary. If you are a member of the customer loyalty test and have questions about the program, please log on to your account at Michaels.com/rewards and enter the member number located on the front of your card or your My Michaels credentials to access additional account information.

Can I use coupons and the member discount in the same transaction?

You are able to use both your membership discount and the coupons you receive via email, postal mail, newspapers, etc in the same transaction where no exclusions apply.

Are there any exclusions to the member discount?

The exclusions for your Michaels Rewards discount mirror the exclusions of a Michaels coupon. One coupon per customer per day. Coupon must be surrendered at time of purchase. May not be used for prior purchases or sale price items or combined with any other coupon, offer, sale or discount. May not be used to purchase gift cards, class fees, in-store activities or birthday party booking fees. Excludes special order custom floral arrangements, special order custom frames and materials, digital frames, books and magazines, Yudu machine, and all Cricut and Slice products. Valid at Michaels stores only. Limited to stock on hand. Reproductions not accepted. Void where prohibited.

How long is the membership valid?

Your membership expires one year after the date of enrollment.

Will the membership benefits be the same next year?

Michaels is conducting a test of its MichaelsRewards program to find the combination of benefits that best appeal to customers. Based on the results of the test, a permanent program may be rolled out at a later date. Future benefits will be communicated as they are determined.

I am a member. How do I update my account?

To update your account information, simply use your membership ID to log in to your membership account and select the "update account" button.

Where can I find my membership ID?

Your membership ID is the number located on the front of your membership card. If your membership card has not yet arrived in the mail, your unique ID can also be found in the top right corner of your invitation email.

Do I have to be a My Michaels member to enroll?

If you are not already a My Michaels member, you will be automatically enrolled in the My Michaels program after creating your MichaelsRewards profile. At that time, you will be able to log into your My Michaels account on Michaels.com to manage your profile and preferences.

How do I contact Customer Service?

Customer Service contact information is located on the back of the membership card.

How do I cancel my membership?

If you wish to cancel your membership and stop receiving your benefits, please contact Customer Service using the contact information on the back of your membership card.

How do I use the membership card?

Present the membership card at the register every time you shop to receive member benefits.

What if I have additional questions about my membership card and benefits?

Simply log on to your account at Michaels.com/rewards and enter the member number located on the front of your card (or in the top right of your invitation email) to access additional account information.

What should I do if I'm not receiving Michaels communications and would like to?

If you would like to receive Michaels communications and special offers, click here. If you are already a member, update your account preferences to indicate which emails you would like to receive.

Can I earn points if I don't have my card with me at the store?

The only way to earn points is for the card to be scanned at the store during each transaction. Points cannot be awarded if the customer did not have the card in hand while checking out.
