Select a small, paperback notebook with a red cover. (If your notebook doesn’t have a red cover, consider covering it with red paper first before proceeding to next step.)

Wrap a piece of pink paper around notebook and trim with a craft knife. Remove paper and use the studded heart punch to make a heart cutout in the front cover. (Tip: Draw a faint pencil line down center of cover to use as a guideline, then erase after punching.)

Replace paper cover and affix to spine of notebook using ballpoint glue pen.

Cut a length of ribbon for a bookmark. Attach to inside back cover of notebook, close to spine, using ballpoint glue pen.
