Material List

  • Bead Landing™ Basic Tool Kit
  • Bead Landing™ Chain, Large Link
  • Loops & Threads™ Craft Cord
  • Masking Tape
  • Jump Rings
  • Closure (Toggle or Lobster Claw)
  • Charm(s) (Optional)

Project Instructions

Cut chain to desired length, keeping in mind the closure will add length.

Cut eight to ten pieces of craft cord, measuring three or four times as long as the chain cut in step above. Tie them together and add a simple knot at the top.

Separate the opposite end into two sections. For each section, gather ends and add masking tape for easier threading.

Lay the threads next to one side of the chain and pull first section through the large link of the bracelet. Then repeat with the second section.

Braid sections over each other. Note: Make sure each section is threaded the exact same way throughout project.

Once braided through each link of the bracelet, knot off and trim ends.

Add closure with jump rings.

(Optional) Add charms throughout, or at the end on the closure jump ring, if desired.

Tips

Use suede or yarn in place of craft cord for a different look.
