Project Instructions

Step: 1

Prewash your surfaces without fabric softener.


Step: 2

With a tape measure, determine the size of the area you want to cover with the rectangle. Or determine the size by what letters you will be using.


Step: 3

Using the measurements you took, draw a rectangle onto the prewashed t-shirt with the chalk marker. Cut a rectangle out of the t-shirt.


Step: 4

To apply fuzzy iron-ons:

Set your dry iron to the wool setting.


Step: 6

Cut out the letters that you are planning to use.


Step: 7

Position each letter on the fabric with the adhesive side down.


Step: 8

Press directly onto the clear sheet for 5 seconds.


Step: 9

Turn your surface over and press the opposite side for 5-10 seconds more.


Step: 10

Cool completely and peel off the clear sheet.


Step: 11

Stitch on the rectangle with a needle and thread or safety pins.


Step: 12

With sharp scissors, cut the peacock out from the patch. Pin or stitch it on top


Step: 13

of the rectangle you just applied.


Step: 14

Apply punk pin or pins


Tips

Cut out shapes and stitch on. When washed, the rolled effect gives it a finished, yet rugged, look.
