Use fabric glue to attach 3/8” ribbon to outer edge of box lid. Glue 1” ribbon onto the outside center of the box and glue the ¼” ribbon on top.
Cluster the feathers. Using hot glue, attach them to the center of the lid. Using 1 ½” ribbon, tie a bow and glue on top of the feathers in the center of the lid. Glue 1 of the beaded see-thru buttons to center of bow.
Using hot glue, attach 4 see-thru buttons in the center of the 1” ribbon, evenly spaced around the box. Glue 2 stacks of black and green layered buttons evenly spaced in between.
Feet: Stack and hot glue 6 buttons as shown with one round black wood bead. Repeat twice more. Glue feet to bottom of box.
Make sure to allow enough time for all paint to dry before gluing accessories to your project.
To stack buttons and embellish with beads: Leave a 4” thread tail, stitch up through buttonhole of button or stack of buttons. Add three E beads onto needle. Stitch down through other buttonhole. Repeat twice more. Knot thread ends together, trim.
