  • Large or Small Assorted Plastic Eggs
  • Decoupage Glue
  • Paintbrush
  • 1 ¾” and ¾” Circle paper punches
  • Craft knife

Project Instructions

To create an easier surface to glue paper onto, lightly sand plastic eggs.

If you would like the eggs to be able to open and close, be careful not to glue the eggs shut while creating projects.

Decoupage Eggs (Large and small)

Using the 1 ¾”circle paper punch, cut enough circles to cover a large egg. Use the ¾” paper punch to create circles for smaller egg.

Using decoupage glue and paint brush, adhere circles to the egg. Let dry.

For the large egg, cut a 2” x 12” strip from yellow cardstock.

Cut slits into the top and bottom edge strip and adhere around egg. Fray and bend ends to create dimension. Cut off excess.

Adhere ric rac ribbon around strip.

Tips

To create an easier surface to glue paper onto, lightly sand plastic eggs. Be careful not to sand surfaces that you will NOT be gluing paper onto (for example, the chick and bunny faces). If you would like the eggs to be able to open and close, be careful not to glue the eggs shut while creating projects.
