- Size U.S. 15 (10 mm) circular knitting needle 36" (90 cm) long or size needed to obtain gauge.

With A: 40 rows.
With B: 40 rows.
With A: 40 rows.
With B: 40 rows.
With A: 40 rows.
These 200 rows form Stripe Pat.
Blanket
With A, cast on 2 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
1st row: (RS). (Inc 1 st in next st) twice. 4 sts.
2nd row: Knit.
3rd row: K2. yo. Knit to end of row.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat, rep last row to
102 sts on needle.
Next row: K1. K2tog. yo. K2tog. Knit to end of row.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat, rep last row to 5 sts on needle.
Next row: K1. K2tog. yo. K2tog. 4 sts.
Next row: Knit.
Next row: (K2tog) twice. 2 sts.
Cast off.
