- To make 20 double points
1 ½ inch blue ribbon - 2 yards cut into 4 inch pieces
½ inch black ribbon with silver edge - 4 yards cut into 4 inch pieces - 3 backing ovals for double mums
- 2 white mum flowers
- 2 small silver mum flowers
- For basic double backing streamers
16 yards of blue 1 ½ inch wide ribbon cut into 2 yard pieces
16 yards of black 1 ½ inch wide ribbon cut into 2 yard pieces - The following ribbons in 1 yard pieces for streamers
4 wide silver mesh ribbons

- 1 inch wide black ribbon for hanger loop, 6 inch piece
- Stapler
- Hot glue
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Make about 20 double points - Layer blue 1 ½” ribbon pieces with ½” black with silver edge ribbon pieces down center of each. Staple each point twice to secure and staple to cardboard backing circle, spacing evenly around circle.
Step: 2
Prepare flowers, attach to the backing piece with the points, add 2 small silver mum flowers as shown.
Step: 3
Make basic double backing streamers - Take 1 piece of each color of the 2 yard ribbons, lay one on top of the other and fold in ½ so that the right side of the ribbon still shows on both sides (the top will make a point). Then staple the point onto another cardboard backing circle in 2 rows of 4 double streamers - overlapping slightly.
Step: 4
Add the following streamers with staples or hot glue
4 wide silver mesh streamers
2 silver star garland streamers

Step: 8
Hot glue a black boa all around the top under the points.
Step: 9
Make a hanger loop with the 6 inch black 1 inch wide ribbon. Staple well to top of streamer back.
Step: 10
Hot glue streamer back to flower/point back, then hot glue the 3rd cardboard back on the back of that to cover the staple ends.
