Duck Tape® Luggage Tag
- Duck Tape® Roll – Gold Scissors
- Duck Tape® Sheet – Deep Ocean Blue
- Sharpie® Permenant Marker
- Hole Punch
Cut one piece of the Ocean Blue Duck Tape® sheet to 6¼"x4" wide.
Lay flat, sticky side up.
Cut one piece of the Gold Duck Tape® to 12" and stick it to the middle of the blue piece (lengthwise) with 3¼" excess on one end and 2½" on the other end.
Fold the excess blue tape over, so there is not any sticky blue tape showing. Do not overlap the gold tape.
Flip over so the blue is on the top and sticky part of the gold is facing up.
Fold the blue tabs inward.
Fold the longer piece of gold tape over the blue.
Cut a 3"x2¼" piece of blue tape from the duck tape sheet and fold into thirds. (Width will be approximately ¾".)
Form a loop around the end of the luggage tag with the sticky side showing and position the loop below the sticky part of the tape. This loop will serve to close the luggage tag and hold the recipient’s information in place. Make sure it is relatively snug. You will need to use another small piece of duck tape to hold the ends of this loop together.
Fold sticky part of gold tape over itself.
Punch a hole in the center of the part you just folded over. Step 12 Cut an 8"x1½" piece out of the Ocean Blue Duck Tape® sheet and fold it over itself, but leave ¼" of the sticky showing.
Cut a small strip out of this fatter piece of Duck Tape® and feed it through the hole.
Attach the sticky end of this strip to the other end to form a loop. This is the loop that will be used to attach the luggage tag to a bag.
Fold tag to close. Tuck long end under strap.
You can write their information directly on the tag with Sharpie® pens or cut a piece of paper or cardstock to insert into the luggage tag.
