Project Instructions

Using tie-dye kit, dye a child's T-shirt in the color you choose. Follow directions on the tie-dye box for dying. Once washed and dried, cut out circles in the Purple Duchess Duck Tape® sheet and attach to the T-shirt.

For the mask, create a sheet of double sided Duck Tape® by laying 7 pieces of Island Lime tape together, about 12" long. Repeat process by laying 7 more pieces on top. Cut out the shape of monster head.

Create another sheet of double-sided Electric Blue. Cut out 2 horns and attach to the back of the monster head.

Using the circle patterns, cut out 2 large black eyes. Stick to head and cut out the eye area labeled on pattern.

From the Midnight Madness sheet, cut out the mouth and attach to the face.

From the Purple Duchess sheet, cut out circles for spots and nose. Attach to face and cut two small slits under the nose.

Fold Winking White tape and cut to the shape of teeth and tape to back of mask.

Add holes to side of face and tie gold cording to fit child's face.

Tips

Let your kids help! Have them draw the face of the monster they want to be on white paper using crayons or markers, then use that as your pattern for the Duck Tape mask!
