| Add a fun Duck Tape Rose to any craft project, as a gift package topper, as a corsage- the possibilities are endless! Duck Tape is available ay Michaels in a rainbow of fun colors. To Create the Stem: Tear a piece of Duck Tape slightly longer than the length of a standard straw. Wrap the straw with the tape. To Make Petals: Step 1: Tear a piece of Duck Tape about 2 inches long. With the sticky side up, fold one corner of the piece toward the middle, leaving some adhesive exposed. Step 2: Repeat Step 1 with the other corner so a petal point is created. Make sure plenty of adhesive is exposed on the bottom. Lay petal on flat surface. Step 3: Repeat Steps 1 and 2 about 15 more times to create all the petals for one rose. Lay all the petals on a flat surface so they’ll be easy to grab when you begin building your rose. Step 4: Cover one end of the straw/stem with a small piece of Duck Tape. Step 5: Loosely wrap each petal around the top of the straw. Adhere each petal a bit further away from the center of the rose to make it appear in full bloom. Step 6: Finish the rose by wrapping a small piece of Duck Tape around the base of the flower to hide any wrinkles or uneven edges.
