Duck Tape® Space Suit Costume
Halloween costumes can be quick and easy! Use a t-shirt and duck tape to make an out of this world Space Suit costume!
Material List
- Duck Tape® Roll - Winking White
- Duck Tape® Sheet - Cha Cha Cherry & Electric Blue
- Westrim® Pail, Large - Clear
- Scissors
- Ruler
- T-shirt, Youth
- Pants, Youth
- Velcro® (Self Ahesive)
- Paint Pen - White and Blue
Project Instructions
Lay shirt flat on a flat surface. Completely cover front and back with strips of Winking White Duck Tape®, slightly overlapping each piece.
Cut an opening down the back center of shirt completely from top to bottom. Cut small pieces of tape, place sticky sides together and attach to back of shirt to make tabs. Add Velcro to tabs for shirt closure.
Split back of pants. Completely cover front and back with strips of Winking White Duck Tape®, slightly overlapping each piece. Add Velcro® for pants closure.
Cut small strips of Cherry Duct Tape® sheet to create the flag on right arm sleeve. Draw on stars with blue paint pen.
Cut a large oval from Cherry Duck Tape® sheet and attach to front of the space suit. Write "USA" and paint stars with blue paint pen.
Cut a circle from Electric Blue sheet and a ½" smaller circle in Winking White. Layer the white over the blue. Draw stars in blue paint pen and attach to left arm sleeve.
Around the top rim of your clear pail, write "USA" in white paint pen and draw stars to dots for added decoration.
