Material List
- Duck Tape® Brand Duct Tape: Red, White, Chrome, Pink
- Shoe Box/Photo Box
- Scissors (with adult supervision)
- Ruler
- Heart Stencils: Small, Medium, Large
- Alphabet Stencil
- Pen
- Hole Punch
Project Instructions
Step: 1
ADULT: Carefully cut a rectangular hole in the top of the shoe box that is about 5-inches long and no more than 2-inches wide.
Step: 2
Cover the lid and the shoe box with red tape.
Step: 3
Use a pen to trace the heart stencils onto different colors of Duck Tape, cut them out and layer them together as shown, or as desired, to decorate the sides and top of the box.
Step: 4
To make lace, fold a piece of white duct tape over onto itself (hot dog style) leaving a little bit of the adhesive side showing. Use the scissors to cut a scalloped edge as shown. Use the hole punch to punch a hole in the middle of each scallop.
Step: 5
Stencil letters onto your choice of tape color to spell your name. Stick the letters onto hearts on top of the box.
