Project Instructions

Step 1  Gather with the Bead Gallery® glass green 10mm faceted square beads, Bead Landing™ gold jump rings, and the Beadalon® gold beading wire.

Step 2  Begin by threading six of the faceted square beads.

Step 3  Add a jump ring, a faceted square bead and another jump ring.

Step 4  Repeat Step 3 fifteen more times so that you have a total of 16 jump rings.

Step 5  Now add six more faceted square beads.

Step 6  Gather the Bead Landing™ crimp tubes with loop and the end strand from Step 5. Insert the end of the beading thread into the crimp tube until it meets the hole of the loop. Using your chain nose pliers, fold over both open edges of the crimp tube and press firmly. Make sure the wire is held tightly with the crimp tube.

Step 7  Cut other end of beading wire from spool and repeat this crimp tube closure step.

Step 8  Next gather the Bead Gallery® glass green iris 10mm faceted round beads and Bead Landing™ eye pins. Thread a bead onto each eye pin. Using your chain nose pliers, bend the wire to form a right angle as close to the bead as possible. Using your wire cutters, remove any excess wire, leaving approximately 1/4-inch of wire.Grab the very end of the wire at a point approximately 1/8-inch down from the tip of your round nose pliers. Roll the wire around the tip of the round nose pliers to form a complete circle centered over the wire stem. Helpful tip: to make the piece look more finished, make your loop so it closes on the same side as your original loop when using eye pins.

Step 9  Repeat Step 8 sixteen more times so that you have a total of 17 beads on eye pins.

Step 10  Attach the eye pins from Steps 8-9 to each jump ring from the steps above.

Step 11  Gather the Bead Gallery® glass green iris 4mm faceted beads and the Bead Landing™ head pins. Thread a bead onto the head pin. Using your chain nose pliers, bend the wire to form a right angle as close to the bead as possible. Using your wire cutters, remove any excess wire, leaving approximately 1/4inch of wire.Grab the very end of the wire at a point approximately 1/8inch down from the tip of your round nose pliers. Roll the wire around the tip of the round nose pliers to form a complete circle centered over the wire stem.

Step 12  Repeat Step 11 so that you have a total of 180 4mm faceted beads on head pins.

Step 13  Now thread a Bead Gallery® glass green iris 4mm faceted beads onto an eye pin. Using your chain nose pliers, bend the wire to form a right angle as close to the bead as possible. Using your wire cutters, remove any excess wire, leaving approximately 1/4inch of wire. Grab the very end of the wire at a point approximately 1/8inch down from the tip of your round nose pliers. Roll the wire around the tip of the round nose pliers to form a complete circle centered over the wire stem.

Step 14  Repeat Step 13 twelve more times so that you have a total of 13 4mm beads on eye pins.

Step 15  Gather the Bead Landing™ gold jump rings and the 4mm beads on head pins from Steps 11 and12. Add six beads on head pins onto a jump ring.

Step 16  Repeat Step 15 so that you have a total of 28 jump rings with six head pins each.

Step 17  Now attach the jump rings with 4mm beads from Steps 15 and 16 to each eye pin of the 10mm beads from Step 10. You should have 17 10mm beads with 17 jump rings with 4mm beads.

Step 18  Now gather the 4mm beads on eye pins from Steps 13 and14 and attach the remaining jump rings with 4mm beads from Steps 15 and 16.

Step 19  Attach the eye pins from Step 18 above to the middle 13 beads from Step 17.

Step 20  Gather the Bead Landing™ gold chain and measure to the desired length. Attach the end chain link to the crimp tube loop from Step 6 with a jump ring.

Step 21  Attach the other end chain link to the crimp tube loop from Step 7 with a jump ring.

Step 22  You will now have an attached circle of chain. Open the circle of chain in the middle and attach the Bead Landing™ gold lobster claw clasp.
