Project Instructions
Step: 1
Make royal icing roses in advance: 10 tip 124 in light rose with tip 12 bases, and 13 tip 103 in medium rose with tip 10 bases. Make extras to allow for breakage and let dry.
Step: 2
Prepare 2 layer cakes (9 1/4 inch and 14 1/4 inch) for stacked construction; ice cake sides white and tops light rose.
Step: 3
Cover cake tops with tip 1 sotas; cascade sotas down sides in tendril fashion at various lengths.
Step: 4
Pipe tip 21 shell bottom borders. On larger cake, pipe tip 2 zigzags round shells. Position roses and add tip 352 leaves.
