Project Instructions

Step 1 With your scissors, cut small four-pointed stars out of Elmer's® permanent adhesive squares and adhere to a small glass vase or jar. Place on vase in a random pattern around entire vase.

Step 2 Peel off top protective layer on tape squares to reveal the outside adhesive. Standing over a wastepaper basket, sprinkle colored glitter on top of each adhesive star. Gently brush off any excess that doesn’t adhere to the exposed adhesive.

Step 3 Continue by drawing decorative designs on the outside of the vase with paint markers, and let dry.

Step 4 Next, cut designs out of small strips of Elmer's® decorative tape, and adhere to vase too.

Step 5 Your wishing jar is complete, now it is time to make a wish! On small pieces of paper write your wishes and fold up and place in your jar. You could also fill the bottom with pretty colored glass baubles or jewels for added effect.
