Step: 1

Using tracing paper, transfer leaf pattern directly onto stone.

Step: 2

Nip red, orange, yellow, dark green and purple chips into random sizes and fill in the leaf pattern. Nip dark green chips into thin rectangles.

Step: 3

Nip dark green and purple chips into triangles and place alternating colors along the border, 1/8-inch apart and 1-inch from the edge to allow room for the cement. Nip as needed at border corners.

Step: 4

Place small amount of adhesive on back of the stained glass chip and place on stepping stone. Press into position. Leave about 1/8-inch between stained glass chips.

Step: 5

Following package directions, mix grout with water. Press grout into position between gaps in glass. Let set for 10 minutes; remove excess grout with damp sponge.

Step: 6

When grout is thoroughly dry, polish surface with soft cloth.
