Project Instructions
White House Ornament

Download the pattern and cut the shapes from the flat felt. Use the lightweight fabric for the window inserts.
Place the aqua house peak on top of the white house piece and overlap them ½". Stitch a straight line through both layers using back stitch.
Position the nutmeg roof on the aqua house peak and add the rose chimney on the roof. Stitch through all layers to attach using running stitch.
Place the black windows and the rose door on the white house piece. Stitch through all layers using back stitch to secure.
Add the fabric window pieces on top of the black windows with back stitch to create windowpanes.
Attach the nutmeg window box piece to the white house piece using running stitch through all layers.
Needle felt spruce roving above the window box. Add white roving above the green for snow and behind the chimney for smoke.
Add a small button for the doorknob and a decorative button to the house peak.
Decorate the house with seed beads in various sizes.
Add a loop of thread at the top of the house for a hanger.
Red House Ornament

Download the pattern and cut the shapes from the flat felt. Use the lightweight fabric for the window insert.
Place the nutmeg roof on top of the red house piece and overlap them ½". Stitch through both layers in running stitch and continue around the entire roof piece.
Place the rose door on the red house piece and attach using back stitch. Add a large seed bead for a doorknob.
Add the green triangle above the door with back stitch and the white piece along the bottom of the door with running stitch.
Attach the midnight blue window to the red house piece with back stitch, and then place the fabric piece in the center of the midnight blue window. Appliqué stitch in place and add two vertical back stitch lines to divide the window into three panes.
Add the midnight blue chimney to the roof with one stitch.
Secure the spruce wreath to the window by attaching seed beads through all the layers.
Needle felt white roving behind the chimney for smoke and on the house for snow.
