Project Instructions
Step: 1
1) Sand rough edges of box, tag and star; wipe clean.
Step: 2
2) Base coat entire box Linen; allow to dry.
Step: 3
3) Paint slats of box with Bright Red, Peridot, Plum & Inca Gold pattern. When dry, apply a second coat; allow to dry.
Step: 4
4) Attach Tip-Pen to Licorice paint bottle and use to fill in lines between slats. Work on 5-6 slats at a time, then use a fine paint brush to touch up; allow to dry.

5) Paint inside of box and outside edges Licorice; when dry, apply a second coat; allow to dry.
Step: 6
6) Paint knobs Licorice; set aside.
Step: 7
7) Tie one 8” length of each color ribbon to box handles.
Step: 8
8) Mark off 1"on left side of tag; paint larger the larger section Bright Red; allow to dry.
Step: 9
9) Paint remaining section of tag Peridot. When dry, paint random large and small dots using Plum and Inca Gold; allow to dry.
Step: 10
10) Paint star Inca Gold and add detail lines with Wicker White; allow to dry.
Step: 11
11) Place black stickers spelling “Merry Christmas” onto tag and hot glue star to upper right corner of tag.
Step: 12
12) Tie the tag with red ribbon. Use Pop Dots to attach tag to front of box. See photo for placement.
Step: 13
13) Using hot glue, attach knobs to bottom of box.
