Project Instructions
Step: 1
Cut strips of floral/geometric print tissue (or your choice of patterned tissue). The width of the strips will depend on the width of the Xyron machine you are using.
Step: 2
Run the tissue strips through the Xyron machine to apply adhesive. Prepare a couple of strips to use, and then prepare more as needed.
Step: 3
After you apply the Xyron adhesive to the tissue, carefully remove the plastic output sheet from the tissue.
Step: 4
Cut or tear pieces of tissue, about 2 - inches to 4 - inches long.
Step: 5
Apply the tissue to the box, one at a time. Overlap each piece of tissue until the box is covered. You can leave the inside of the box plain, cover it with tissue or paint it if desired.
Step: 6
Wrap several strands of Adornaments™ fibers around the lid of the box. Tie the fibers into a knot at the center front of the lid. Trim ends of fibers to desired length.
