Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut a 1.25" piece of 20-gauge wire. Using chain nose pliers, make a 90° bend 5/16" from the end of the wire. Switch to round nose pliers, and form a round loop from the 5/16" length of wire. Slide cut luster 8mm bead onto the wire. Use chain nose pliers to make a 90° bend next to the bead. Trim the wire to 5/16". Use round nose pliers to form the 5/16" of wire into a round loop. Repeat nine more times, making a total of ten links.

Step 2 Open all jump rings. Use one 8.5mm jump ring to connect together two of the links finished in Step 1. Repeat, connecting together five links into a single chain. Repeat, creating a second five-link chain section. One end should terminate with a jump ring, the other with a cut luster link.

Step 3 Slide one of the round sliders onto a head pin, inserting the head pin diagonally through the four loops on the slider. Create a wire-wrapped loop next to the slider, creating a dangle element.

Step 4 Cut a 2" piece of 20-gauge wire. Using chain nose pliers, make a 90° bend 5/16" from the end of the wire. Switch to round nose pliers, and form a round loop from the 5/16" length of wire. Slide the straight portion through a hole in one round flower slider, passing the wire straight across, so that it comes out the opposite hole and the attachment sits off-center behind the component. Bend the wire 90° next to the slider, flush cut the wire to 5/16". Use round nose pliers to form the 5/16" section of wire into a round loop. Repeat on the other end of the slider, and then add identical wire attachments to one more flower slider. Repeat on the fourth flower slider, passing the wire diagonally across the back of the slider, so it sits in the center of the component and not off to one side.

Step 5 Open one loop on the slider with the centered wire attachment. Slide the dangle element onto the loop and close the loop. Slide an open 8.5mm jump ring through the unoccupied loop and close the jump ring. Add a second jump ring in the same position.

Step 6 Slide an open 6mm jump ring through both of the rings attached to the two sliders. Attach one loop of a crystal oval connector onto the ring. Close the jump ring. Repeat, attaching a second crystal oval to the two rings. Open one of the loops on one flower slider link completed in Step 4. Attach it to the second loop of the crystal oval connector. Close the loop. Repeat on the opposite side of the chain, adding the last flower slider link.

Step 7 Open the second loop of the flower link, and slide on the loop of one of the cloisonné connector links. Close the loop. Repeat on the opposite side.

Step 8 Open the loop of the cut luster link on one of the chains. Connect the loop to the unoccupied loop of the cloisonné connector. Repeat on the opposite side.

Step 9 Use a 6mm gold jump ring to attach one side of the clasp to the large jump ring at the end of the chain. Repeat on the opposite end of the chain.
