Whip stitch around handle beginning with 5thBO stitch* and ending 5 BO stitch from M. Make 2 whip stitches in each BO stitch. Weave in tail.
Whip stitch around second handle beginning with 5thBO stitch* from M and ending 5 BO stitches from end. Make 2 whip stitches in each BO stitch. Weave in tail.
*Using the 5thBO stitch from the ends creates a bag with little BO edge past the handle rings. This makes a better silhouette, but requires the handles being laid down on top of each other and accessing the inside of the bag through them. If you prefer a wider opening and do not mind the excess material on the outside edges of the bag, you can increase this number and start and end your whip stitch at the 8th or 10th or 15th stitch.
Join seams on bottom of bag with wrong sides facing each other. Weave in remaining ends, sew ends of Flamenco™ down under a right side ruffle, or if you will be lining your bag, you can sew them down on the inside of the bag.
