Flower Frill Holiday Centerpiece

- Flower Frill Template, Any Size
- Assorted Christmas Fabric (Approximately 2 Yds.)
- Needle
- Strong Thread
- Scissors
- Styrofoam® Cube, 5"
- Shallow Glass Vase
- Flameless Candle
- Florist Wire, 16ga and 22ga
- Florist Gum
- Florist Tape
- Wire Cutters
- Round Nose Pliers
- Garland of Pine Needles
- Stems of Leaves & Berries (5)
- Drying Glue - Clear
Project Instructions
Thread your needle and make a knot.
Using the Flower Frill Template, fold fabric in half (#1 to #1).
Fold in a quarter (#2 to #2).
Fold fabric and template back (#3 to #3).
Trim fabric to template curve being careful not to cut template.
Before removing template insert needle at point end and slide to the knot remove template.
Repeat the steps above until you have the desired amount of petals.
Find the center of the flower and insert wire. Twist wire to secure flower frills.
Set foam cube into the center of the shallow vase and secure with florist gum.
Pull pine needle sprigs and the leaf and berry sprigs and arrange around the sides of the foam cube.
Add stemmed Flower Frills.
Cut a 5" square of one of the Christmas fabric and glue on top of the cube.
Set candle in center on top of the covered cube.
