Project Instructions
Use Styrofoam® cutters to cut Styrofoam® to measure 12"x12".
2 Use wire cutters to cut heads off of daisy bush, leaving approximately ½ of stem.
Place hot glue on tips of stem and punch into Styrofoam® and lay out desired letter.
Once the letter is complete, cut pieces of hydrangea petals off of the stem or bush, leaving ½" of stem to insert into the foam.
Use hydrangea petals to fill in the remainder of the square around the letter. Be careful not to place the hydrangea petals too close to your letter petals or the letter will lose shape.
Tear off a section of Spanish moss and stretch it out to cover sides of the Styrofoam® block. Squeeze the moss and bunch together to keep the moss in place. Lay moss onto foam and insert floral pins every 1"-2" to secure moss. Continue until all four sides are covered.
Optional: Add a gem or other embellishment somewhere on the letter for accent.
Take piece of ribbon and glue to the back of Styrofoam® approximately 2" in from each side. Insert floral pin through ribbon on each end for extra security.
Use scissors to cut any stray pieces of moss.
