Project Instructions

Cut one copper sheet to 6 x 2 ½ inch size.

Take one patina sheet. Working from the 6-inch side of the sheet, measure one inch from one end and fold sheet on mark. Hammer down the fold using the flat end of the ball peen hammer on a steel bench block. Unfold the sheet and hammer down the folded crease using the ball end of the ball peen hammer. Measure ¾ -inch from the first fold and repeat fold hammer process on mark.  Measure ¾ -inch from the second fold and repeat fold hammer process on mark. There should now be three hammered folds. Cut folded part of patina sheet to 6 x 1 ¾ inch size using the metal shears.

File down all sharp edges of cut sheets using either a sand paper or metal files.

Shape cut sheets to two cuffs with the forming pliers.

Place the patina cuff on the top middle most part of the copper cuff.

Punch out two holes in the middle part on one end of two cuffs, each ½ inch apart. Repeat to make two more holes on the opposite end of cuffs.

Rivet cuffs together by inserting one rivet through the first hole of copper and patina cuffs then hammer down rivet to secure connections. Repeat on the next 3 holes of cuffs.
