Project Instructions
Step: 1
Wipe the surface with alcohol or vinegar to remove dirt and fingerprints.
Step: 2
Double load the #12 Flat Brush with Burnt Umber and Wicker White. Using the chisel edge of the brush, and leading with the Wicker White, paint the vines.
Step: 3
Double load the brush with Thicket and Fresh Foliage. Use the flat side of the brush to paint the leaves. Pull the stems into each using the chisel edge of the brush, leading with Fresh Foliage.
Step: 4
Double load the brush with Berry Wine and Engine Red. Using the chisel edge of the brush, and keeping the Berry Wine side up, paint the berries. Push the brush down on the chisel and then lift with a slight pull towards the stems.
Step: 5
Load the brush with Burnt Umber and paint a stem for each berry.
Step: 6
Finishing: Option 1: If painting on glass or ceramic, allow paint to dry overnight and then place in a cool oven. Turn the oven to 350 degrees. After the oven reaches that temperature, bake the canisters for 30 minutes. Turn the oven off but don’t open the door until the oven is completely cool. Option 2: allow paint to air dry for 21 days before washing.
