1 ½ inch silver metallic mesh ribbon - 1 ¼ yards cut into 4 inch pieces
1 ½ inch blue ribbon - 1 1/4 yards cut into 4 inch pieces
1inch red ribbon - 1 ¼ yards cut into 4 inch pieces - White mum flower for center, regular size
- 6 small white mum flowers
- 4 small red mum flowers
- 3 football shaped cardboard backing pieces
- For basic backing streamers
1 ½ inch red ribbon - 20 yards cut into2 yard pieces
1 ½ inch blue ribbon - 20 yards cut into 2 yard pieces - To make a Homecoming streamer

Project Instructions
Step: 1
Make about 24 points - ½ of the points 1 ½ inch silver metallic mesh ribbon and the other ½ of the points - blue 1 ½ inch ribbon with a 1inch red ribbon on top. Staple each point twice to secure and staple to a cardboard backing circle alternating colors and spacing evenly around circle.
Step: 2
Prepare flowers and attach to the backing piece with the points.
Step: 3
Make basic double backing streamers - take 1 piece of each color of the 2 yard ribbons, lay one on top of the other and fold in ½ so that the right side of the ribbon still shows on both sides (the top will form a point). Then staple the point onto another cardboard backing circle in 2 rows of 5 double streamers, overlapping slightly.
Step: 4
Make a “Homecoming” streamer - 1 ½ inch wide blue ribbon and red glitter sticker letters. Add some red sticker footballs and helmets.
Step: 5
On the flower, hot glue a red and blue curved “Homecoming” banner as shown.
Step: 6
Add the following with staples or hot glue
2 each silver mesh, red metallic mesh, blue metallic mesh
6 each, assorted size - silver, metallic red, metallic blue, printed red, printed blue
4 each ½ inch red with silver edge, ½ inch blue with silver edge

Step: 7
Hot glue or tie the following embellishments as shown

Step: 8
With 6 inch of blue or red 1inch ribbon, make a hanger loop and staple it well to the top of the streamer backing circle.
Step: 9
Hot glue the streamer backing to the flower/point back. Then hot glue the 3rd cardboard backing circle to the back to finish.
