Project Instructions

Placemat

Select three blue prints for the placemat. One will be the base and does not need to be cut (it will remain 12"x12"). Cut a piece from one measuring ½"x12" and from the third measuring 4"x12". Attach the 4"x12" print to the outside edge of the base print, overlapping it onto the larger print by ¼". Adhere the ½"x12" print to the right edge of the 4"x12" print.

Select two red prints and one additional blue print. Punch a 3" scalloped circle from the 1st red print and a 2 ½" circle from the 2nd red print. With the scalloped circle on the bottom and the other circle centered on the top, adhere these to the placemat 5" from the left and 2½" from the bottom.

Adhere an 11½" strip of the 1" wide grosgrain ribbon to the placemat to the right of the 3rd printed strip, on top of the red circles, leaving the bottom tip of ribbon touching the bottom of the placemat.

Adhere the 11 ½" strip of the 3/8" grosgrain ribbon to the center of the 1st strip.

Punch a 2" circle from the remaining blue print. Use the small hole punch to add two holes to the bottom section of the circle and tie a knot of ribbon through them. Adhere this to the center of the last red circle and embellish with stickers or rub-ons.

Repeat Steps 1-5 for as many placemats as needed.

Place card

Select two red prints, one blue print and one white print.

From the first red print, cut a 5"x3 ¾" rectangle. From the 2nd red print, cut a 2 ½"x3 ¾" rectangle. Adhere these together, print sides up, with the smaller-sized rectangle overlapping 1 ¾" onto the larger. This will leave approximately ¾" of the 2nd print showing. Score these down the middle to create a tent-shaped card.

Punch two stars, one large one from the white print and one medium-sized one from the blue print. Punch two holes in the center of the blue print and tie a knot of ribbon with the 3/8" white grosgrain ribbon. Trim edges of ribbon as desired.

Embellish with alphabet letters.

Repeat Steps 1-4 for as many placemats as needed.

Water Bottle

Select two blue prints, one white print and one red print. Cut a 12"x3 ½" strip of paper from the blue print. Adhere this to the water bottle.

Tie a 17" strip of the 1" white grosgrain ribbon to the bottle. Trim edges.

Punch out a 2" circle from the red printed cardstock. Punch out a 1 ¾" circle from the white cardstock. Adhere these together with the white circle in the center of the red. Attach this tag to the front of the water bottle using adhesive foam squares

Embellish front of tag with die cuts, alphabet stickers and ribbon as desired.

Repeat Steps 1-4 for as many placemats as needed.
