Step: 1

Use one 12-inch x 12-inch sheet of white Swiss dot cardstock as layout base.

Step: 2

Cut scalloped rectangle. Using A Child’s Year cartridge and blue cardstock, select Card feature, press Shift, and cut one 10½-inch <Dog2-s>. Adhere to layout as shown.

Step: 3

Cut three 3 1/8-inch x 4 5/8-inch blocks of white cardstock. Adhere to scalloped rectangle as shown. Cut one 9½-inch x 5/8-inch strip of dark pink cardstock. Adhere above white blocks. Cut one 9½-inch x 1-inch strip of red cardstock. Adhere below white blocks. Cut one 9½-inch x ½-inch strip of green cardstock. Adhere below red strip. Machine stitch across all strips as shown. Adhere rickrack along dark pink strip as shown.

Step: 4

Cut fresh. Using Graphically Speaking cartridge and orange cardstock, select Jumbled feature and cut one 2¾-inch <Image33>. Adhere to layout as shown.

Step: 5

Cut Spring. Using Stretch your Imagination cartridge and green cardstock, select Silhouette feature, press Shift, and cut one 3¾-inch <Spring-s>. Adhere below fresh.

Step: 6

Cut kite. Using Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge and red cardstock, select Headwear feature, press Shift, and cut one 2½-inch <SprngB-s>. Repeat cut using orange, green, and pink cardstock. Cut apart orange, green, and pink kites. Layer onto red kite as shown. Adhere to layout as shown using foam adhesive.

Step: 7

Thread twine through buttons. Adhere to page as shown.
