Project Instructions

Step: 1

Adjust pattern size so the largest skull will fit on an 8½-inch x 11-inch sheet of paper. Print off.

Step: 2

Cut pattern pieces out and use pencil to trace onto white Fun Foam. Cut two skulls and two attachment pieces. Cut the eyes, nose and corners of mouth out of one skull (Skull #1). Trace them onto the other skull (Skull #2).

Step: 3

Pour a puddle of Fashion Glitter Bond™ onto a piece of foil. Using small paintbrush, paint Glitter Bond™ over eyes, nose and corners of mouth of Skull #2, extending the Glitter Bond™ approximately 1/8-inch past the outlines. Immediately sprinkle Black Fashion Glitter™ onto adhesive. Let dry, then shake off excess onto scratch paper and pour back into bottle for reuse. Repeat if necessary to completely cover areas with glitter.

Step: 4

Cut a 1-inch tall vertical slit on the outside edge of each eye on Skull #2.

Step: 5

Use Black Spirit™ Fabric Marker to color the inside cut edges of the eyes, nose and corners of mouth on Skull #1. When dry, use Black Slick 3D Fashion Paint™ to add all other line work to Skull #1.

Step: 6

Slip ½-inch of attachment piece through each slit in Skull #2. Glue with Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue™ towards the temples. When dry, glue Skull #1 and Skull #2 together. Let dry.

Step: 7

Use hole punch to punch holes on ends of attachment pieces.

Step: 8

Weave earpiece of glasses frame through the holes to hold mask in place.

Tips

Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.

Carefully remove the lenses from an old pair of sunglasses and use the empty frames to hold your mask in place.
