Note: Stuff Banana as you work.

Beg at top of Banana with A, ch 2.

1st rnd: 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join MC with sl st to first sc. Break A. 4 sc.

2nd rnd: With MC, ch 1. (1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc) twice. Join with sl st to first sc. 6 sc.

3rd rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 12 sc.

4th rnd: Ch 1. (1 sc in each of next 3 sc. 2 sc in next sc) 3 times. Join with sl st to first sc. 15 sc.

5th rnd: Ch 1. (1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 2 sc in next sc) 3 times. Join with sl st to first sc. 18 sc.

6th rnd: Ch 1. (1 sc in each of next 5 sc. 2 sc in next sc) 3 times. Join with sl st to first sc. 21 sc.

7th to 9th rnds: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to
first sc.

10th rnd:Ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 13 sc. 1 hdc in each of next
8 sc. Join with sl st to first sc. 21 sts.

11th rnd: As 7th rnd.

12th rnd:As 10th rnd.

Rep last 2 rnds 11 times more.

35th to 37th rnds: As 7th rnd.

Lightly stuff Banana.

38th rnd: Ch 1. (1 sc in each of next 5 sc. Draw up loop in each of next 2 sc. Yoh and draw loop through all loops on hook – sc2tog made) 3 times. Join with sl st to first sc. 18 sc.

39th rnd: Ch 1. (1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Sc2tog) 3 times. Join with sl st to first sc. 15 sc.

40th rnd: As 7th rnd.

41st rnd: Ch 1. (1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Sc2tog) 3 times. Join with sl st to first sc. 12 sc.

42nd rnd: Ch 1. (Sc2tog) 6 times. Break MC. Join A. 6 sts.

43rd to 47th rnds: With A, as 7th rnd. Fasten off, leaving a long end. Finish stuffing Banana. Thread end through rem sts and draw tightly.
