Step: 1

Make about 12 double points - use 4 inch pieces - layer purple 1 ½ inch ribbon with 1 inch white ribbon centered on each point. Staple each point twice to secure and staple to cardboard backing circle spacing evenly around circle.

Step: 2

Prepare flower and attach to the backing with the points.

Step: 3

Make a basic backing with streamers in gold and purple - take 1 piece of each color of the 1 yard ribbons, lay one on top of the other and fold in ½ so that the right side of the ribbon still shows on both sides (the top will form a point). Then staple the point onto a second cardboard backing circle in 1 row of 2 double streamers and another row of 3 double streamers, overlapping slightly.

Step: 4

Make a “Homecoming” streamer - 1 ½ inch wide purple ribbon with gold glitter sticker letters.

Step: 5

Add the following with staples or hot glue
6 pieces of gold curling ribbon
Braided streamer
Purple streamer printed with the city, school or team name

Step: 6

Hot glue or tie the following embellishments or trinkets as shown
3D football player
2 purple and gold “Homecoming” footballs
3 purple and gold “Go team” megaphones
3 purple and gold large “#1”
5 purple helmets, assorted sizes
Large purple and gold “Charge”

Step: 7

Hot glue the following embellishments onto the flower as shown
Large, 3 inch purple and gold 3D star
Large curved “Homecoming” banner - purple and gold
Large, 2 ½ inch gold and purple 3D football

Step: 8

Make a purple hanger loop with 1inch ribbon, 6 inch long. Staple it well to top of backing with streamers.

Step: 9

Hot glue the backing with the points and flower to the backing with the streamers, hot glue a purple or gold garter onto the back of the cardboard backing that the streamers are attached to. When cool, hot glue another cardboard backing on top of that to finish and hold secure.
