Using 1" flat and Tiger Lily Orange, basecoat inside and rim of small pot and large pot plus bottom portion of medium pot. Use Marigold for bottom outside small pot, rim and inside of medium pot. Cloud White for bottom portion of large pot.
Transfer four evenly-spaced pumpkins around large pot; four evenly-spaced ghosts around medium pot; and four bats evenly spaced around small pot. 3. Paint Wrought Iron Black bats on small pot. Cloud White ghosts on medium pot and Pumpkin Orange pumpkins on large pot.
Shade down either side of center pumpkin section with Tiger Lily Orange.
Paint stems Pinecone Brown and pumpkin's features with Marigold. Outline pumpkin and features using liner brush and Wrought Iron Black. Add highlight lines to features.
Using same brush and paint color, outline ghost and paint facial features. Highlight eyes with Cloud White.
Paint ribbon with Tiger Lily Orange, bat eyes and lines on wings and body with Cloud White, using liner brush.
Transfer lettering to each pot as follows: "trick" to large pot; "or" to medium pot; and "Treat" to small pot. Space words evenly around rims. Paint lettering Wrought Iron Black.
Once pots are thoroughly dry, glue wood wheel inside each pot with flat side against hole. (This will prevent knotted jute from passing through larger hole in pots). Let glue dry and paint any exposed area of wheel same color as pot.
Fold jute in half. At fold, leave enough of a loop for hanging and tie knot. Thread other end of jute through top of pumpkin pot and tie another knot on inside tight against wooden wheel. Thread jute through top of ghost pot. Adjust pot so that it hangs just inside pumpkin pot, and ghosts are visible. Tie another knot tight against wheel.
Repeat same step as above for bat pot.
After tying knot, leave enough jute to attach rusted jingle bell. Once bell is attached, cut off any remaining jute.
