Project Instructions

Paint dowel rods Licorice. Let dry, then varnish.

Paint dowel caps Parchment. Let dry, then add Licorice polka dots using the end of a paintbrush to make the dots. Let dry, then varnish.

Cut strips of scrapbook paper the width of the front of the frame. Using Mod Podge®, adhere the strips all around the front of the frame.

Measure 3½" down from the top, then measure equally down the side as many dowel rods as desired. Drill a small hole into the front of the frame and screw in a cup hook. Repeat for the remaining dowels, making sure to measure both sides carefully so the rods are straight.

Attach one dowel cap to a dowel rod. Slide the rod through one of the hooks, slide the roll of wrapping paper onto the rod, slide through the other hook and push on the other dowel cap. Repeat for all the dowel rods.

Use this fun project to store your ribbons as well as your gift wrap!
