  • DeocArtĀ® Gloss Enamels Paint:
  • White
  • True Red
  • Black
  • Dark Chocolate
  • Metallic Gold
  • Festive Green
  • DecoArtĀ® Craft Twinkles Writer - Christmas Red
  • Soft Bristle Brushes - 3/4" Wash, #1 and #3 Round and #8 Shader
  • Glass Jar with Lid, Medium
  • Paper Plate
  • Paper Towels
 

Project Instructions

Wash and dry glass. Allow each coat of paint to dry before adding additional colors.

Mix Dark Chocolate and Snow White at a 3:1 ratio to make Light Brown. Paint the jar with the mixture. When thoroughly dry, add a second coat.

Paint the lid White and the knob Festive Green. When thoroughly dry, add a second coat.

Mix True Red and White to make Dark Pink, then paint the cheeks with the mixture. After cheeks are dry, shade left edge of cheeks with True Red, then dot each cheek with White.

Paint nose True Red and eyes and mouth Black. When eyes are dry, highlight each eye with White.

Paint “icing” lines around face area with Snow White.

Paint True Red stripes on the jar lid. Let dry, then add a second coat.

When Red stripes are dry, paint a Gold Metallic line around base of knob.

Apply Christmas Red Craft Twinkle Writer™ sparingly along the left edge of each Red stripe on the lid.

Tips

Wash glass in mild detergent, rinse, then dry thoroughly before painting.
