Material List
- Folk Art Acrylic Paint - Christmas Red and Light Peony
- Mod Podge - Hologram Gold Glitter
- Wooden “Peace” Sign
- Small Round Wooden Box
- Red, Pink, Green And White Coordinating Scrapbook Papers (Diamonds, Stripes and Christmas Words)- 3 Sheets
- Sandpaper
- Liner Brush
- Hot Glue Gun
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Sand edges of box smooth; wipe clean
Step: 2
Basecoat inside of box Light Peony; dry
Step: 3
Basecoat outside of lid Christmas Red; dry
Step: 4
Cut diamond paper and use Mod Podge to glue to base of box
Step: 5
Cut a ½” strip of striped paper and use Mod Podge to glue to upper edge rim of box lid
Step: 6
Cut a circle 1/4” smaller than the top of box and use Mod Podge to glue to center of box lid
Step: 7
Give the entire box and lid a coat of Mod Podge to add a glittery look; dry
Step: 8
Use a liner brush and add dash lines around outside edge of lid (refer to photo)
Step: 9
Use hot glue to attach “Peace” to lid
