First create the pearl chains. Thread a 6mm pearl onto an eye pin and finish with a simple loop. Click to see technique for making loop. Make 14 small pearl links. Carefully open and re-close end loops to connect all of the links together to form a chain.
Thread an 8mm pearl onto an eye pin and finish with a simple loop. Make 16 large pearl links. Connect 14 of the links together to form a chain and save 2 of the links for the sides of the necklace.
Cut the chain into 4-4½-inch lengths.
Use a 6mm jump ring to hold 2 chains together to form one side of the necklace. On the other side use a 6mm jump ring to hold both a lobster claw clasp as well as the two side chains to form the other end of the necklace.
Attach an 8mm pearl link at the bottom of the 2 chains on each side of the necklace.
For the Rose side, use a 6mm jump ring to connect the rose link to the bottom of the 6mm pearl link. Attach 2 linked 6mm jump rings after the rose. Open the last jump ring and connect the 6mm pearl chain first (to lie on top) and the 8mm pearl chain second (to lie on the bottom.)
Bring the 2 pearl chain ends together through a 6mm jump ring. Link this jump ring to another jump ring connected to the pearl link on the other side to complete the necklace. See photo for reference.
