Golf Balls Cake Pops
Material List
- Duff Cake Pans, 9"x13"
- Duff Cake Mix – White
- Cooking Ingredients from Cake Mix
- Duff Icing Pouch – White
- Melting Chocolate – White (1 Pkg.)
- Duff Fondant – Colors of Choice
- Corn Syrup
- Sucker Sticks, 6"
- Styrofoam® or florist's foam
- Grease
- Flour
Project Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°.
Grease and flour one 9"x13" cake pan.
Bake cake according to Duff cake mix instructions. Let cool completely.
In a mixer, place cake and pouch of icing. Mix until well blended.
Shape cake pop mixture into golf ball shapes.
Melt the melting chocolate slowly at a low temperature on the stove.
Dip end of sticks into chocolate and insert into cake balls.
Freeze for 15 minutes.
Dip cake pops into white melting chocolate that coordinates with ball shape. Tap off excess chocolate.
Make dimples using the end of a cake pop stick to make the cake pop resemble a golf ball.
Dip in white melting chocolate.
Create golf tee out of fondant and attach to stick with corn syrup.
Place sucker stick into foam and let dry.
