Project Instructions
Cut out desired number of pennants from assorted prints in the stack, each measuring 5"x8". Score each one 1" in from the top and fold the flap behind the pennant. Each piece will now measure 5"x7".
Cut a decorative edge on the bottom (edge opposite fold) if desired (i.e. half circle, slanted edge, "v" cut, etc.).
Embellish each piece, adding items from the stack such as small tags, sayings, words, icons, etc.
Insert one each in with your party invitations and mail them out. *Note: be sure to include instructions on how to complete each pennant (i.e. add photo, fill out journaling prompt, etc.).
Before the party starts, string a section of ribbon in a designated area. When guests arrive, pin their pennant on the ribbon with a clothespin.
After the party, create a title page for the book, adding a title on the front. When complete, attach the cover and the pennants together - one on top of the other - into a book with binding rings.
Send the book home with the honored party guest!
