Project Instructions

Cut the following materials to length below:
A. Suede Cord (one piece each): 32", 27" and 19".
B. Chain: three links long *Note: use five or six links for regular necklace length.

Flip open the hair clip, insert one large jump ring through the middle bottom hole of the clip then flip back to close the hair clip.

Take one end of all three cords and insert through the large jump ring from previous step until the cords are approximately halfway through. Create a knot using all cord ends and pull knot as close to the jump ring as possible.

Pick any three of the cord ends and insert each cord through one corrugated bead.

Select six ribbon ends. Attach one ribbon end to one cord end using chain nose pliers until you have ribbon ends on all of the cord ends.

Take three screw-on clasps, unscrew each to separate. Fill each of the six clasp components with E-6000® glue.

Select six feathers from the package. Insert the pointed hollow shaft part of your first feather to one clasp component with E-6000®. Repeat this until all six clasp components and six feathers have been used. Set aside to dry.

Take the first feather with clasp and connect to the first ribbon end on the suede cord with one jump ring. Repeat until you have connected all six feathers to all ribbon ends on suede cords.

Flip open the hair clip one more time to insert one end of the large chains and flip back to close hair clip, leaving the chain inside.
