Material List
- Hair Affaire Decorative Headband – Black
- Mesh Ribbon, 5/8" – Green (25 Yds.)
- Low Heat Glue Gun
- Ruler
Project Instructions
Cut three pieces of ribbon, one at three yards in length and two at 3" in length.
Start braiding through the wire head band:
place the middle-most part of the three yard ribbon on either inside edge of the wire hair band.
Take the ribbon end on the right side, pull “up” the right side wire of the hair band, insert “in” through the middle hole between head band wires and pull “down” towards the left side wire of the head band. Repeat in reverse using the ribbon end on the left side.
Continue to braid across the wire head band, avoiding the flower component and finishing on the opposite end of the head band.
Take the first 3" ribbon and glue on head band edge where the braiding started. Wrap the rest of the 3" length progressively until there is no trace where the braiding began. Glue the opposite end of ribbon on mark.
Repeat last step using the second 3" ribbon on the edge where the braiding ended.
