Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut out the flower template on the second page then trace to transfer image on satin ribbon using pen or pencil. Repeat until you have seven transferred templates on ribbon; cut. Each of the seven templates will be referred to as “petal 1” to “petal 7.”

Step 2 Cut out two pieces of quarter coin size felt circles. Hot glue one on the middle top of the ponytail holder and hot glue the second on the inside of the ponytail holder so that a small portion of the ponytail holder is between two felt circles.

Step 3 Take “petal 1” and fold in equal parts three times, then put a small dab of hot glue on narrowest tip to hold the folds in place.

Step 4 Take “petal 2”, fold in equal parts two times, put a small dab of hot glue on the narrowest tip and attach to the right side of “petal 1.”

Step 5 Take “petal 3”, fold in equal parts two times, put a small dab of hot glue on the narrowest tip and set aside.

Step 6 Repeat Step 5 using “petal 4” through “petal 7.”

Step 7 Take the “petal 1" and "petal 2” bunch and hot glue on the

center-most part of felt circle on the top of the ponytail holder

from Step 2.

Step 8 Take “petal 3" through "petal 7” and hot glue on felt circle to surround “petal 1" and "petal 2.”

Step 9 Repeat Steps 1-8 to create two more flower sets to be hot glued on right and left end of the first flower set.
