Project Instructions

Step 1 Cut two pieces of leather cord to 15" long.

Step 2 String each piece through each end of the hamsa charm and set aside.

Step 3 Cut another piece of leather cord to 28" long.

Step 4 Beginning on one side of the hamsa charm, center the two shorter strands on top so that the 28" cord ends are on either side.

Step 5 Fold the left strand over the center strand. Bring the right strand over the left strand. Thread them both under the center strands and up through the loop in the left strand. Pull evenly on both ends to tighten the first half of the square knot and slide it up under the overhand knot.

Step 6 Fold the right strand over the center strands. Bring the left strand over the right strand, thread them under the center strands and up through the loop in the right strand. Pull evenly on the ends to tighten the second half of the knot and position it under the first half.

Step 7 Repeat #5 and #6 until you have 2" of knots.

Step 8 Leaving the center strands, cut the excess cord from the left and right strands.

Step 9 Repeat Steps 4 through 8 on the other side.

Step 10 Cut a 28" length of leather cord.

Step 11 Wrapping the bracelet around the palm of your hand, take center strands on both sides and overlap so that one set of strands is pointing north and the other is pointing south. Center the 28" length of leather cord under both sets of center cord so that is is hanging on either side.

Step 12 Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until you have 2" of knots. Then, leaving the center strands, cut the excess cord from the right and left sides.

Step 13 The two center sets of strands are now adjustable parts of the bracelets.

Step 14 Make a knot on each of the cord ends approximately 3" from the ends. Add a bead to each end and make another knot. Cut excess cord.
