Project Instructions

To create wreath base, use two circular pie tins or platters, one being about 2-inches smaller in circumference than the other.

Place on foam board and use pencil to trace around, centering the smaller one inside.

Carefully cut out foam board with craft knife.

Trace several size hands onto scratch paper and cut out.

Layer several pieces of felt, pin on pattern and cut out. Repeat step using different greens and sizes of hands creating enough for wreath.

Position hands onto wreath overlapping, as shown, making sure foam board is completely covered.

Carefully lift up a section, apply thin beads of Fabric Fusion and then press back into place. Let dry for about 15 minutes.

Hold up wreath then glue down any loose sections as needed. Let dry.

To create pom poms, cut out a 2-inch x 5-inch cardboard strip. Wrap end of yarn around center until about 1-inch thick. Cut a 10-inch length of yarn and lay on work surface. Carefully slip looped yarn from cardboard. Center yarn loop over yarn piece and hold in place. Tightly tie yarn piece around center tying several knots to secure. Insert end of scissors into loops of yarn at on one side and cut apart then cut other side. Tightly hold yarn ends, tie and shake back and forth to open yarn. Use scissors to trim pom poms to desired size. Repeat steps to create desired number of pom poms.

To create bow, cut 2-inch wide strips from longest side of felt yardage. Loop back and forth then tape a strip around middle to hold in place. Make a slightly smaller bow by repeating steps with a shorter strip of felt yardage. Cut out a 1-inch x 6-inch felt strip. Layer bows with smaller bow on top, adjusting as needed. Wrap 1-inch x 6-inch strip around center of both bows, overlapping in back. Glue overlap in place with Fabric Fusion, holding with a pin until dry. Glue bow and pom poms into place as shown. Let dry.

Use premade pom poms of varying sizes for a quicker way to accomplish your final project.
