Material List
- DecoArt® Paint Markers Broad Line: Black, Pale Violet
- FolkArt® Acrylic Paint: Wicker White, Lemon Custard
- Large Carvable Egg: Yellow
- Wood Cutout: 5 3/8-inch x 2¾-inch
- Soft Felt: Yellow
- Stiff Felt: Orange
- Embroidery Floss: White
- Embroidery Needle
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Scissors
- Flat Brush: ½-inch
Project Instructions
Step: 1
Using the patterns provided, cut out wings and feathers for top of head from yellow felt. Cut out feet and beak from orange felt. Using the embroidery floss, stitch a decorative stitch around the edges of the wings, feet and beak. Set aside.
Step: 2
For the sign, basecoat wooden cut out with wicker white then dry brush with lemon custard. Let dry. Add pale violet dots using marker. When dry, write "Happy Easter" and add outline as shown with the black paint marker.
Step: 3
Referring to photo for placement, glue all parts to egg. Draw eyes using the black marker then add highlight dots to eyes with wicker white using tip of paintbrush handle.
