Project Instructions
Step: 1
Print the pattern.
Step: 2
Trace and cut out the heart and hand pieces from green paper, and the feet from black paper.
Step: 3
Position the heart on the bag. Trace a mouth opening. Carefully cut the mouth about ¼-inch larger, while making sure to cut only the top layer of the bag.
Step: 4
Glue the green heart onto the bag with the mouth aligned, as shown.
Step: 5
Cut strips from green paper to create arms and legs. Accordion fold the strips. Glue the feet and hands to the ends of the strips. Glue the strips to the bag as shown.
Step: 6
Glue the wiggle eyes to the bag as shown.
Step: 7
Place letter stickers on a heart sticker to spell “Be Mine” or other message of choice. Place heart sticker on bag as shown.
Tips
Use photo as a guide and follow manufacturer’s instructions for all products used.
Use the left over paper and foam stickers to create handmade valentines to give away at school.
